What is freeze-drying?

Freeze-drying (also called lyophilization) is one of the most advanced ways to preserve fruit. Instead of using high heat like traditional drying, the fruit is first gently frozen. Then, under low pressure, the ice inside the fruit is removed as vapor — so the fruit dries without being “cooked.”

What does that mean for the fruit?

Because the process uses low temperatures, it helps maintain the fruit’s natural structure, color, aroma, and flavor. You get that light, crisp, melt-in-your-mouth texture — with the taste of real fruit, not a sugary candy-like snack.

Why people love it:

Freeze-dried fruit is simply fruit, preserved at its best: no added sugar, no preservatives, and nothing artificial. It’s an easy way to enjoy clean, real-fruit snacking at home, at work, or on the go.
